Start Condition Is Not Fulfilled

Hi all,

I am learning SAP CRM Service, please help me to find solution for problem below.

I've created a Service Contract with two items, one of them has SPLA item category.

After I have released Service Contract Service, Process Action was triggered succesfully, but on log of statuses for this action I see error

"Current date lies outside of validity period of templlate ******"

Also system propose to execute second action which suppose to create service order. I try to Execute it and I'm getting an error in WEB UI

"Start Condition Is Not Fulfilled". And action remains yellow. In SPRO for Action Profile "Service Plan" I see condition - &Release Date&  ≤ &Today's Date&. My document is valid for this condition, what additional customizing I have missed ?

Thanks,

Maria

in WUI.

Generally Release date configuration happens with a tolerance. It seems like immediately you are trying to generate the order, for that your condition should met. Just play with the dates.

You manually change the dates until you get the release date less than or equal to today, then try.

For an example you can see before and after adjustments.

or

in GUI.

open the contract (tcode CRMD_ORDER) in change mode and get into the PRODUCTS tab, double click on the item and go to ACTIONS tab and you can edit the condition values you are passing, for this you might need to know how to dig into the business object. change the date values and Then execute the action button available just above on the same tab.

Hi Sridhar,

I have tried to change Planned start date as today's day and problem is that when I release item, my Service Contract is stack and go in damp. Do you have any advice why this occurs?

Thanks,

Maria.

Hi Maria,

I think you are directly setting the target date, it will dump the transaction. Let me explain the below example for your understanding. (this is just for an example, you will be having different dates and names all together )

In the above example start of interval date, system considers it as a reference, and rest of all other dates will be defined based on the start of interval date.

BEFORE case.

System automatically proposed me Release Date as 08.03.2014

but my intention is to generate the order on 01.03.2014

AFTER case.

I manually set the start of interval date to 22.02.2014, based on this value automatically all other dates get determined, thus Release date set to 01.03.2014.

So in order to generated an order from contract I will try to set the start of interval date until I get release date is less than or equal to today's date.

So try to change the date from which the reference is taken.

Otherwise can you attach the screenshot of your contract item date details.
