SAP BI CR 2013 SP4 - Parameter has invalid structure size

Hello,

We gave a number of scheduled reports that call sub-reports via CMC. These reports can be scheduled separately and run successfully, however, when they are scheduled to run as a single report the error occurs : Error in File ~tmp3784934d9c4e60e.rpt: Parameter has invalid structure size.

I have checked the link parameters and all seems ok, and they have same datetime data types.

We recently upgraded to

SAP BI CR 2013 SP4 (v14.1.4.1327)

and are running CMC SAP BI 4.1 SP1 (v14.1.1.1036)

Are these versions compatible with each other? All help greatly appreciated as we are getting nowhere with this issue.

Hello Helen,

Dell has right, this is caused by an Incompatibility between CR client, BVM and BI Platform. Please check KBA 1959704 at https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/1959704.

In general, your BO/CRS system version and your CR version should be the same. If you have to open a ticket on this issue, support will require you to have both at the same version before they'll help you. Do you have a development environment where you can install SP4 of BI 4.1 to test?
