Communication Channel Monitoring: Start and Stop buttons are disabled

Hi PI Gurus,

We are on SAP PI 7.31 SP 07 stack level. Our XI Adapter Framework component was on Patch level 0005 and we updated it to patch level 00038 as per OSS note 1958104.

Now when I go back to communication channel monitoring, all buttons Start, Stop, External Control, Automatic Control are disabled.

I have appropriate role as I was able to use them before we applied patch level 00038 for XI Adapter Framework.

Can someone let me know if they have faced similar issues and have any resolution / OSS note?

your help will be rewarded as it is urgent.
