I too agree on this with Michael.

Dickersbach's Supply Chain Management with APO 2008 is one of the best books for APO.

Hi Mike

The best book for a beginner is SAP SCM with APO by Dickersbach, it's getting old but it is by far the easiest to read.  You can find used copies on Amazon.

Other than that the SAP help documentation is useful but can be fragmented if you are looking for an overview.
