When doing the solman_setup step, during phase 8 of Managed System Configuration, the step "Database Extractor Setup" fails and shows red led. The log file at the bottom of page says "No Content supplied to EFWK Setup. Nothing to Configure. Please check PPMS Information in Landscape". How do I resolve this?
I
I ran into the same issue. The problem was caused by the database not haveing an assigned product in the LMDB. I assigned the product and it fixed the issue. See screen shot below.Compare to your other systems to find the correct software to assign.
1. Select Edit Mode
2. Select Add
3. Search for the correct Software installed
4. Add the Software
5. Save your changes
6. Rerun the step in Managed System Configuration.

Hi,
Go to Landscape browser (solman_setup - Section related links/Landscape browser) and search for the technical system you have problems with. On the right side of every row, there is a traffic light in column TS Status. When you click on this traffic light, you should see what exactly is wrong with your technical system definition.
In my case, this issue was resolved by assigning Software component version to my database system (LMDB/technical system - database system, Software -> Add correct sw component). Everything is green now 🙂
Good luck
