Creating a sales org by copying other S.Org

Hi All,

In our company, we normally create a sales org by copying a template sales org and editing the details, address etc.
In a new country implementation, instead of copying from template org, I copied from already created sales org.

Can anyone tell what all definitions/assignments get copied when a sales org is created by copying from other S.Org?

Hello Manoj,

Please ensure the below check points.

  1. Assignment sales org to comp code
  2. Assignment dist. channel to sales org
  3. Assignment div to sales org
  4. Set up sales area
  5. Assignment sales office to sales org ( if u maintain any sales office )
  6. Assignment plant to sales org-dist channel.
  7. Business area-BA assignment has to be done (if BA derivation rule is based on sales area)
  8. Pricing procedure determination has to re-check
  9. Account determination has to check -VKOA (if any table based on sales org)

AG

Hello Manoj,

As per my knowledge there is not any direct way to see all the assignment, after coping you have have to go in each assignment option and check.

In addition to address, distribution channel assignment to a sales org, division assignment to a sales org, plants to sales org, and sales document types to the sales org gets copied.

you need to review the entire enterprise structure where Sales Org is involved.
