Technical Monitoring - Version/Backup of Template

Hi experts,

we are using solman 7.1 SP8.

I would like to know, how can I create different versions of a template for Technical Monitoring.
Because in solman_setup step 4 (template management) I can find some buttons like "Overwrite from backup".

And I can also find in "Templatesettings" a field with the name VERSION = CURRENT.

So is there a possibility to create a kind of a backup or version?

If so, how can I do this?

In step 4, if you click the icon Backup it will show you to option - 1) Save as backup and 2) Display backup version.

And when you display backup version the version should change to Backup.

You are right, BUT! This button is just available in display-mode.

Therefore I didn't found the functionality.

And what about the version "Current", what does this mean?

Current version mean is the active version. If you modify the current version and would like to restore the backup version then there is an option available in Edit mode where you can overwrite the current version with backup version (if you have any).
