Getting Short Dump while compressing inventory cube for BF datasource

Hi Experts,

I am getting Error short Dump, when I am compressing Cube for inventory (IC_C03) for datasource 2LIS_03_BF and there is no aggregates for cube..

As I am checked in ST22 tcode its showing as(MESSAGE_TYPE_X) error it is showing.

Category               ABAP Programming Erro

Runtime Errors         MESSAGE_TYPE_X

ABAP Program           SAPLRRSV

Application Component  BW-BEX-OT

The current application has triggered a termination with a short dump.

t happened?
The current application program has detected a situation that should
not occur. A termination with short dump has therefore been triggered
by the key word MESSAGE (type X).

Try to debug the program help with ABAPer

have updated any patches ask to basis team.

meanwhile check the source and target transformation active or inactive?

have you writing any complex code in Transformation level it will happen some code issue.

Hi Sunil,

You may get this error if you compress the volume of data that cannot be processed with existing system resources. Try to compress 1st uncompressed request first. If this will work out then you may continue compression splitting requests in few buckets.

If you are using 7.4 Version then,

Please implement this Note - 1978153(Infocube Compression terminates after upgrade to BW 7.40)

As I solved this issues with implementing this note.

I am using BW7.40 SP8, note is not applicable.

I tried to import the note but its in compatible.

I don't about your issues Shankar,

my version is 7.4 SP5 but we are implemented this note and issues is solved.

other project were faced same problem, and even they are also implemented this note and issues is resolved.
