yes,the PO7.4 is java only system
thank you for your reply, but when i follow the steps of link to configure ,I face a problem ,the RFC destination PI_AEE failed to connect,it shows:'503 service unvaluable', and the response header fields showed like following:

~response_line HTTP/1.1 503 Service Unavailable

~server_protocol HTTP/1.1

~status_code 503

~status_reason Service Unavailable

connection close

cache-control no-cache

expires 0

server SAP NetWeaver Application Server 7.40 / AS Java 7.40

pragma no-cache

content-type text/html;charset=ISO-8859-1

content-encoding gzip

~remote_addr

~uri_scheme_expanded NONE

Hi Steve - Make sure that the port number is correct..

If you access the complete URL, it should display the servlet status as ok.

http://host:port/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?ximessage=true

if it works then your RFC destination should work..

Is your PI system up and running? Seems like system/service is not available

my PO system is up and i can access Enterprise Service Builder  successfully. If the service is not available ,which service should i check?

All the services shown in the below URL should be up and running.

However try restarting the xpi service: messaging system and see if that helps....

Also do you have any soap channel created? if so what is their status in channel monitoring page. ?

Also go to java EE applications -> filter with the name "soap"

you should see something like com.sap.aii.adapter.soap *  -> this should be in started state. if not please start it

Did you check the soap application EE service?

Also go to java EE applications -> filter with the name "soap"

you should see something like com.sap.aii.adapter.soap *  -> this should be in started state. if not please start it

If it doesn't work i would suggest to try restarting the system if possible..

hi,hareesh, I want to configure the SLD in PO 7.4 , how should i do in ECC and PO7.4. I have already configure the rfc destination in SM59 ,But i couldn't find the way to configure the program ID in JCo RFC provider: as the PO 7.4 single stack and have no client to input in TAB repository configuration, how should i create? thanks

Hi Steve - You don't need to configure the "LCRSAPRFC" & "SAPSLDAPI" destinations in ECC

You can use the other option - "Access the SLD Server using HTTP" from your ECC system using the transaction SLDAPICUST
