quality certificate for a BOM structure

Hi,

I have a scenario.....

Raw material say A is input to SFG material say B and SFG material B is input to FG material say C.... all RM material, SFG material and FG materials are quality managed....

In a production order Batch X of Raw material A is used in production of SFG material Batch say Y. Now Batch Y of SFG material is used in production of Batch Z of FG material C......

Now after the completion of production order of FG material C when we do GR, stock of Batch Z goes to quality inspection with generation of inspection lot....now we complete RR of this lot and UD done...

Now while printing the results certificate along with the results of lot of Batch Z system also need to print the results of input batches like results of inspection lot of batch Y of SFG material and inspection lot of batch X of RM material....

How to configure this in SAP QM....I came to know this it is possible in standard SAP....can u plz guide....

Hi,

In my view, Standard SAP does not provide such functionality. When you go to print a CoA for a batch, system considers it as Final or FG. How would system differentiate the Raw, SFG and FG?

Development would be needed to achieve these results. Sreenath's logic is nice and this is good way to print the certificate as per the user requirement.

Hi,

This has been the requirement of some pharma clients but i think this is not possible through standard SAP.

We have developed a Z program to achieve this.If we give the Inspection lot or batch of the finished product system does the where used list for the batch and then searches for the results of each material(provided all the materials are batch managed).

I am also keen to see if we can get any solution for this through standard SAP.
