PT is not deducted for employees who are moved to new personnel Sub area

Dear Consultants,

In current project we have created new personnel subarea according to client requirement, and moved 3 employees in Jan 2014. Now for the same employees Professional tax is not deducted from Jan salary, and even they are not in the Professional Tax report. Is there any link between new personnel subarea and the PT deductions? Please do needful.

Dear Naresh,

Yes, Ptax link with based on PA PSA

Let we take one exp: If client has 1 PA and 2 PSA

1. PSA : Bangalore 2 PSA : Mysore

Bangalore has Ptax

Mysore does't have Ptax

so in such case we are maintaining below table

Kindly can you check once again PC_PAYRESULT there is RT table in this table check your technical wage type like /3E1,/3E2.....!

If you have moved employees to different personnel area. You need to check respective personnel area slab codes  Is there any configuration for recently moved personnel areas
