hi,
I want to change my key figure DATE data type to DATS (now it is DEC), system is not allowing to edit .
so we deleted the data in info-cube but can't delete data(request) in my wright optimized DSO , when tried to change the status to red, it showing request status can not be set to 'RED' in its current state.
just got information from forum https://scn.sap.com/thread/1416935.
(If no change log exists for the concerning request, you cannot delete it.Only a full deletion of all data or a selective deletion will work.)..... but problem is i am not understanding what is this change log.
can anyone suggest me how can i delete request in dso or how can we change key figure data type.
Thank you
Hi,
is your key fig is standard info object? if yes then not possible and not suggestible to change also.
Write dso may holds only full loads. if possible try to change request status to red at base tables.
RSICCONT
RSMONICDP
Once you changed to red, then later try to delete the data request.
Thanks

hi,
my key figure is not standard one .its created by me i don't why its not allowing me to change.that is the reason i tried to delete data in wo-dso and cube but problem i am not able to delete in wo-dso request.
and in my search i got to know that,we can't delete wo-dso request but we can do with selective deletion.
Thank you
HI Reddy,
if you use the KYF , fisrt check where you use this KYF. Then delete the data from these objects where your KYF is used. And tfinnaly change its type.
And yes you cna do a complete deletion, you can delte only selected requests and you can also do selective deletion! Note that delete a single request and slective delitions especially when you have a lot of records takes time...

Hi Raghu,
If you have created that particular Keyfigure, pls do remodeling from RSA1(applicable only for BI 7 and above).
1.If you are unable to delete data from DSO , pls find DSO table name and delet it from tables.
2.Re-model the keyfigure.
3.Cross check if data got datamarted.
4.Reload the data.
Regards,
Mohammed Raheez
