sap_int.xlm and sapbex.sla causes lost OLAP function

I am using a BEX analyzer(SAPbex.xla) query and have the ability to right click on a cell and use the OLAP functions until using the ALV output format from R/3 that calls SAP_INT.XLM. This export of data to Excel causing the lost connectivity to the OLAP functions in BEX

analyzer. I can still connect using the menu items at the top. When right clicking on the cells, I only the the excel context menus. I am expecting to see the BEX analyzer context menu. Do you experience the same results? Do you know of a solution to stop this from happening?

Steps for the Reconstruction

1. Open BEX analyzer query in Excel (ZSFCQMPPM_002).

a. right click on results area cells and will see context menu for BEX analyzer funtions.

2. Using SQ01 open a query

a. Environment --> Standard Areas --> standard area

(client specific)

b. Environment --> Directories --> User Groups -->

PTP - Consumer

c. choose a query from table ( EX: ZDAILY_REL_ORD )

d. Execute (F8)

3. In bottom section change output format from 'SAP list viewer' to spreadsheet. Execute (F8)

4. In the "restriction of database access" dialog box use the default 100 records

5. In "export list object to XXL" popup box choose "Table"

6. In the next popup box for "export list object to XXL" leave radio dial set to "Micrsoft excel". click continue (the green check mark)

7.) toggle to BEX query spreadsheet and right click on a results area cell. The context menu is now the MS Excel funtions

8. In the information "save the data in the spreadsheet" click on continue

8. toggle to BEX analyzer query and right click on results area cells. The toolbar disappears and the context menu for BEX analyzer disappears even though the menu item Business Explorer is still available.
