Copy Personalization settings and saved searches to another SAP CRM user

Hi experts,

Due to organizational issues we have to copy a SAP-CRM user account to a new one.

Is it possible to copy the personalization settings and the saved searches from the "old" to the new CRM account?

If yes, which steps do I have to execute?

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,

Anne

Hi Anne,

this can be achieved using the report BSP_DLC_COPY_PERSONALIZATION.

Please have a look at the following two threads:

Hi Christian,

Thanks a lot for your input!

I am wondering why I don't find any entry for the user although the user has saved searches.

Do you know what could be the reason?

And do you know if tags and favorites are also stored in this table?

If not, is there any possibility to copy these ones also from one user to another? I could not find any information about these items in the linked threads.

Thanks and Best Regards,

Anne

Hi Anne,

the saved searches are stored in tables CRMD_SHORTCUT and CRMD_SHORTCUT_T. The following SAP Note describes how to publish a saved search for all users:

http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1372708

Using this information you should be able to copy the saved searches to the new user names.

I don't know if similar approaches exist for the tags.

Best,

Christian
