Table name(and structure) housing P & L and BS data in SAP Finance/FICO?

Dear All,

I am new to SAP Finance, in particular, with technical background.

Would like to know the following:

In SAP Finance/FICO, once period close is run and PL & BS statements are generated, which tables are housing these data - P & L and BS data/financial-instruments? Any resource/thread/URL with basic information on this would be appreciated.
