Time capturing Business scenario

Hello Friends,

I have a requirement and i need your suggestions to achieve this in system.

My requirement is " PS project with activities is created and person assignment is maintained and the person assigned will use the CATS to book the time, but the real issue is with the contractors, the contractor details is not maintained in the system but we have to capture there time, How we can achieve this, the project manager has to book the time on behalf of the contractors, on purchase order or service request without maintaing the contractor details in the system.

Any suggestions will be helpful.

I am sorry but you will need to "hire" the contractors for their master data. Using groupings - Employee and PSA you can restrict their benefits. You will need to create a work schedule for them in IT0007 and use Time Status of 0 or 8.

Actually that is the problem here the subcontractors data will not be maintained we cannot hire the subcontractors... We have to just book on the PO or activity that this many hours effort contractors have invested and this is the cost for it....

Can we get service request details integrated with CATS??

If you want to book hours The employee master data is required without which how would system know how many hours would required for each employee.
