Strategy Group differences

Dear experts,

What is the difference between strategy group 40 and strategy group 61? Please suggest.

Hi

PS-40

1. Make to stock

2. You can create PIR for FERT and initiate the production process

3. When sale order receives, PIR will reduce.

4. Can do deliver from existing stock.

Example : PIR 100 , SALES ORDER -120 , Stock -20  If you run MRP , SO qty will be planned .PIR will be consumed by Sales Order .MRP Net Qty planned will be 120-20 = 100
