SFTP receiver adapter not working!

Hello All,

We recently installed SFTP adapter and channel status is up and running.

But it is not functioning as expected. I couldn't see any logs also. Is there a way to check if all the necessary settings are in place.

Any kind of help is highly appreciated.

    Hi Glory,

    Please check below blog on SFTP installation:

    You can check with your basis team if they have correctly followed all steps of SFTP & PGP installation. In worst case, you can ask them to redeploy the files on PI system.

    You should also ensure you have configured the adapter and receiver channel as per the below help.sap pages:

    Try These :-

    SFTP, Port 22 has to be opened for the particular server and the server fingerprint must match.

    Try connecting to SFTP server using WINSCP or FileZilla and check if they exist.

    Hello All,

    Thanks for all your replies.

    Actually we have successful connection in development and testing server.

    We did the same in PI production server where the communication channel status is Green "Up and Running" but it does not seem to work.

    No Error messages and No logs at receiver side. Not sure what went wrong.

    Also we moved the ESR and ID objects before installing SFTP server. That could be the problem?

    network bandwidth could one be one of the problem. Check with Filezill and network team. Put a dummy file and see if it take longer time to reach SFTP server.

      Hi Ramashish,

      Using the same SFTP server for development and staging where it works perfectly.

      SO i dont think there is problem with SFTP server.

      SFTP adapter is not working.

    Hi Glory,

    Have you tried to force an error?, i mean, you can try to set an incorrect path or to set inactive the channel. In this way you can check if the issue could be for example that the scenario is not sending the message to the SFTP channel.
