enhance campaign approval (WS10001004)

Hi,

I need to enhance SAP standard campaign approval (WS10001004) to send an email when the status was changed (eg, to approver when status is ready for change, to creator when campaign is rejected or approved, etc).

I believe the proper way is to copy the WS10001004 and create a new one.

Can anyone give some guide on how to do it?

Hi Julius,

We had a similar requirement in my previous project and was asked to design an approval mail which had to be triggered on change in status.

We achieved this by designing a custom workflow and triggering the same on the event of same. This was achieved by enhancing the standard campaign page. As this was a custom workflow we didn't have any impact on the existing standard workflow and did not disturb the standard process as well.

What is the transaction & how to copy the existing workflow WS10001004 to a new one?

Hi Julius,

The Transaction code to see the work flow is SWDD and to copy the work flow go the T code "PFTC" enter the work flow template and give the task 10001004 and check

How to make sure that the OOCU (agent assignment/event linkage) will be applied to the new workflow, and not the default WS10001004?
