Deploying of FIORI and ODATA integration components on GW HUB and ECC server respectively

Hi Experts,

In my landscape like below

SAP ECC --> SAP NW GW 7.41 ABAP stack

ECC - SAP_APPL version 606 SP4 and SAP_BASIS version 731 SP4.

NW GW - SAP_GWFND 740 SP5.

According to SAP Note : 1917162

Below of the table SAP FIORI SPS 3 apps

Now here my question is whether UI and ODATA component's SP level in the above table are applicable to my above landscape or i need to upgrade any SP level in my landscape.

Can you help me on the above question.

Hi Syam,

I recommend you to use new version of Fiori apps and new Launchpad.

There is monitoring process in SAP and you should register your project for downloading new version.

1. Register your project.

2. Download new software

http://service.sap.com/swdc -> Installation and Upgrades -> A-Z Index -> F -> Fiori -> SAP Fiori for Suite

You can use new Fiori launchpad and UI extension points.

Thanks for quick response.

As per my above landscape

For Example for App My Leave Requests the latest SP Level at Service Market Place .

(GW UI)UIHCM002 100 (SP 03)  == (OData)  GBHCM002 600 (SP 10).

Here as per below screenshot taken from Service market place to deploy GBHCM002 600 (SP 10) on ECC (7.31ver) one of the prerequisite was SAP_GWFND 740 .

Here my questions below.

1. To deploy GBHCM002 600 SP10 on ECC Whether i need to deploy add-on SAP_GWFND 7.40 on ECC or not ?(ECC has IW_BEP SP7)

2.  If not whether below screenshot is speaking about SAP_GWFND in NW Gateway Hub Server(GW Server has SAP_GWFND 740 SP5).

3. Otherwise,Should i proceed with SAP Fiori SPS2( My Leave Requests: UIHCM002 100 (SP 02) == GBHCM002 600 (SP 09) or whether i can proceed with (GW UI)UIHCM002 100 (SP 03)  == (OData)  GBHCM002 600 (SP 10) without importing any other components.

Yes Syam.

You have to fulfill all the prerequisites. If you go for GBHCM002 600 (SP 10) on ECC (7.31ver) Then of-course you have to deploy or upgrade the SAP_GWFND 740 with n-1 patch level.

As per you leave request check the other pre requisite as per the given link.

Here is my recommendation.

ERP:

+ IW_BEP SP07

+ GBHCM002 SP10

Gateway:

+ SAP_GWFND SP05

+ UIHCM002 SP03 - old one

+ UIX01HCM - new one

During the Fiori installation and configuration I find the below mentioned link a helpful one. As all prerequisite and requirement are clearly mentioned

Just go through the link and compare what are the things you requires.

There are many component you have to add in your systems like ECC, Gateway & SRM as per your requirement in which fiori apps you are going to use. But I suggest add the latest patch level(n-1).

You have to apply many sap notes in all the systems and many manual correction as well. Advise you to apply it correctly.
