Hi Guys,
I have configured outgoing mail configuration using SCOT tcode and maintained port num 25 for this. Now for Inbound email configuration for SAP EHS offline form processing ,for this we have maintained email in SCOT->Settings->Inbound processing. Do we need to open a different port for the same.
Pls guide.
Regards,
Madhura
Hi Madhura,
You may use same port.
Refer to guidelines and links in the thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/3427879

Hi Madhura,
For inbound processing you need not define any email id in SCOT.
For Adobe application, email should be triggered to abc@sapprd.com
where abc is a user in SAP
sapprd is SAP applicaiton host
Email server should route any email to abc@sapprd.com to inbox of abc user within SAP.
Hope this helps.

Deepak Kori
Hello Sir,
I tried but its not working. I think some configuration is missing.I sent the adobe form on the email id as you suggested but nothing is received in SAP system. Also in which client the mail will be received. The email system should be set up such way so that it should forward the emails to SAP EHS Management component so that further EHS incident processing can be done.
Pls guide.
Best Regards,
Madhura
