SAP help

Hi All,

My name is Sameer and have a degree in accounting. Currently I am working at an Oil & Gas company although not in Accounting yet. We use some SAP in my department and this made me look more into SAP. I recently made contact with a person who teaches SAP BO (Business objects). Now my questions is should i go for BO or should I later go for SAP FICO. Would going for BO be a complete reversal in what I have studied? also if i can get some detail into that kind of prospects do BO and FICO entail please. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regard,

"degree in accounting" is more relevant for FICO , not for BO....

Hi sameer sadiq,

Has you mentioned "Degree in accounting" .. My Opinion SAP FICO module its easy to understand

These are the sub modules of the SAP FI:

AA -- Asset Accounting
AP -- Accounts Payable
AR -- Accounts Receivable
BL -- Bank Accounting
FM -- Funds Management
GL -- General Ledger Accounting

Hi Sameer,

Good to know Your interest in SAP. If Your are having experience of Oil&Gas industry , You study feasibility to move further in IS OIL (SAP for Oil&Gas). If You opt Industry Solution for OIL, Your past experiece would be worth and counted. Thats what I belive. Please check below link to get more into this topic.
