Hi All,
How to do tolerance time in time management.
Minimum tolerance time is 15 minute and maximum tolerance time would be 2 hour in a month, after that loss of pay will happen.
How to do in the system in time management Please suggest me.

Anup
Hello Anup,
Which TM you are using either Positive / Negative ?
This well done by the PCR only, you have to write PCR for the late time entry and at the end the month calculate the total time and based on your condition > 2Hrs is no LOP if < 2Hrs treat as LOP.

Hi,
Biometric is there and HR admin is uploading any timings of the employee in the system ?
if not they have daily login and logout entries in the work sheet format according to the output of the Biometric system. ask them to check for tolerance time for late coming employees and book LOP in IT 2001. if you give exactly how they are using time management process, is easy to suggest you.

Hi experts,
The below rule is followed for Tolerance time ,so how to configure and deduct have a day leave in sap System.
Tolerance Timing Rule:
An employee is expected to adhere to the stipulated work timings.
Company shall consider it as half day leave deduction; if in a month the employee exceeds 15 mins for more than 3 times from the time of his actual work timings.
An employee in the General Shift is allowed to go 15 mins early every day from their prescribed work timings. Company shall consider it as half day if he exceeds 15 mins even single time.
An employee with the prior approval of the HOD is allowed 2 hours of either late coming or early going then their actual stipulated time twice in a month.

Hi Experts,
For overtime in public holiday and normal working day....pls give your opinion how to configure in sap HR.
I am writing bellow the rule for Overtime :
Overtime
An employee who is required to work on a gazetted public holiday shall be given a day--‐ off in substation and paid ordinary rate plus 200% of his basic pay.
An employee who is required to work overtime shall be given 150% of his basic pay.
Leave take before public holiday, so holiday will consider normal day because, the employee has taken leave before one day and he joined organization after public holiday over.
Employees shall not be entitled to any public holiday pay if he is absent on the work day immediately preceding or immediately succeeding a public holiday.

Tolerance limits are set in the Daily Work Schedule (V_T550A) configuration. There is a begin and end tolerance fields against each DWS. Please read SAP help on these fields.
For managing the maximum tolerance limit, you would need to capture the daily violations in a Time Type and at the end of the month you will need to take a decision if the value in the Time Type is > 120 minutes and convert it into a LOP.
For the tolerance violations each day you will need operations like HRS=PBEG and HRS=SNTB to see the violations each day. This difference needs to be captured in a Time Type and evaluated at the end of the month.
Hope this helps.

Pramod
