Hi
I have just completed my degree and I have to incorporate into SAP EP now. I´m trying to understand the functions in SAP EP with using SAP Help but sometimes SAP Help is not very helpful! The target is to replace the exisitung intranet by SAP EP. I´m the only one in my company working with SAP EP and so I have to find the answers for the questions that my supervisor is asking. I hope you can understand my situation now...
Now my question:
I have a folder-structure in the main-folder "public documents" and I have to realize the following scenarios:
Scnario 1:
A user (=user1) has role- or group-specific permissions in a folder. Example:
-
-
SAP
--internal (none)
-
-
PLM (none)
-
-
CRM (none)
-
-
SRM (none)
--external (read)
-
-
PLM (read)
-
-
CRM (read)
-
-
SRM (read/write)
-
-
The user doesn´t see the internal folder "SRM". But another user (=user2) uploads a document in the internal SRM-folder an the user with no permissions may not see this document, but he has to!!! You can set the
permissions document-specific, that´s no problem, but the internal SRM-folder is still not visible, and user1 can´t see the document. Do I have to give him permissions all the way up this folder-structure ("SRM -
internal"), so that he can see the document and has access to it? Or is there any other possibility?
Scnario 2:
My supervisor wants a publishing-workflow for documents. If a user uploads a document, he has to specify the target group of this document and therefore the permissions for this document are set automatically. How
can I realize that?
By the way, here our Software-Versions:
Portal-Version: 6.0.13.0.0
KnowledgeManagementCollaboration-Version: 6.0.13.0.0 (NW04 SPS13)
Thanks for your help...
Regards,
Sven
