Accrual Object Error

I am working on Accrual Engine.Hi Nikki

I have found out one of the error regarding account determination whike testing the ACACTREE01

I request you please help me Extended Account determination. FOr Initial and period and U(FInal) Start and Target GL accounts  .

I need GL accounts for I,P and U(Final) for start and target accounts Which Account type have to give ..I know one is expense type(P&L) and another is Balance sheet.

I am under dilema form I,P,U(Final).

Please help me.

I successuffly completed Accrual Object(ACACTREE01)with no errors.

Please let me know ,if I give the prepaid accrual A/C with open item management ,it shows an error.without Open Item Management there is no error at all.Which one is to be considered .

Once again please confirm me the  start  and Target accounts for I,P and U. whether the balance sheet accounts are open item management or without open item management.

And also I also made setting in Assign Accounting Principle to Ledger Groups for OL.

Please confirm Once I do the ACACTREE01, what else to test anotehr scenarios other than Periodical postings.

Please advise the error message you are getting. Balance sheet account so defined can, for sure, carry the open item management with line item display. Please provide the screen shot you are getting the message on for better understanding.

Please check the P/L account that you are using in accrual engine. Does it have line item display checked... if not then do so and run the accrual one more time.

Hi Nassem,

the error got solved.Accrual Engine do not have open item balance sheet account.

Can you please let me know in the basic settings of accrual engine can I give assign company code is test status or productive mode.

We would like to go for mass creation of accrual object in ACACTREE01?Is it possible.please share me your inputs .

Hi Arjoo,

For Start of accrual (I) the "Start Account" is a balance sheet accrual account and "Target Account" is P/L account.

For Periodic accruals recognition (P) "Start Account" is P/L account and "Target Account" is B/S account

For Change of accrual start (U) "Start Account" is P/L account and "Target Account" is B/S account.

Thanks a lot . for the balance sheet account ,the open item management should be there or without open item management account .Please confirm me.I got posted accrual object without any errors without open item management.

Please confirm me for start and Target accounts for I,P and U .In the basic setting in accrual engine  assign comnay code is in test status or prductive status ?
