Extension Field Rule: Visible when true

Hello,

is it possible to make an extension field visible/unvisible with the rule modeler in Cloud for Customer when this field is true?

Question is the following scenario:

In Customer Master Data wie have a tab with many Indicators. The user should only see the indicators wich were true. When he wants to edit the customer then all indicators should show.

For Example: When the user is in read mode then the following indicators show:
Indic1 (true), Indic4(true)

When the user is in edit mode then the following indicators show:
Indic1 (true), Indic2 (false), Indic3 (false), Indic4 (true)

I think that i can only achieve this by development, bur maybe there will be a way with the KUT rule modeler.

Hi Patrick,

Yes, it is possible to set rules on visibility of a extension field using rule mode editor.

Also with 1702 release, multiple conditions can be used using "CASE" operation.

But with the example provided by you, I am not sure if rules be set with regards to read and edit modes of a TI screen.

Hi Patrick,

Yes, It is possible to change the properties of a field using KUT with the new feature available in 1702 release.

Check the screen shot for more details.
