How to restrict flow of mails for certain set of users from SAP system in SOST

Hi SAP Gurus,

We need to restrict flow of mails to certain set of users in SOST.

Users are getting mail from non production system.

These users are finance vendors.

Is there any restriction rule..for avoiding sending mails to certain set of users.

Hi Avadhesh,

You mentioned it as Non-Production system right??

So first check whatz the need to send mails from an non-productive system. I guess you might only send it to basis people for system monitoring.

And define those mail'ids which you want to sent the mail's .

I dont think it's possible to filter the mail id's anywhere else. Only option SAP provided is SCOT transaction.

Here * allows all the mail'ids else you need to specify the mail id's which you want to sent the mails.

Hi Avadhesh,

You may mention the email ID in the Address field within SCOT configuration.

Replace the * with respective email ids. Emails will be delivered on to those emails id from SAP.

My requirement is to restrict certain set of users from getting mails from the system.

I don't have list of users who need to receive, I have a list of users who should not receive.

We have already maintained * in address area.

Could you please update on this
