Hi experts,

1) What is difference the between "Organisation and staffing" & "Experts view" in Human resource-Organisation management.

2) While hiring new Employee- should we maintain it in PPOME or Expert view?

3) as i know when i checked in Expert view object's can be created in there- assigned to the related objects OR Should we create the objects PPOME and maintain in Expert view?

Hi Anuj,

As Dinesh said you can use any of the method to create org strcuture but  simple maintenance is prefered method for creating huge structure and Expert mode is prefered to maintaing OM infotypes like vacancy,relationship etc if org structure is already in place.

For hiring an employee ,you should run hire action.

Please find below the answers to your questions :-

Whether you create organizational Structure in 'Organization and Staffing ' or ' Experts view', the same structure reflects in both the cases. The only difference is that if we create organizational structure in 'Organization and Staffing', the relationship between the objects are assigned by the system.  Where as in 'Experts mode', the user has to assign the relationship code.  The relationship codes can be seen through transaction code   “OOVK” table name is T778V.

I guess using PPOME / Organization and Staffing will be better for the purpose of new hiring. As there, you will find four areas [ Search area, Selection Area, Overview Area and Detail Area] in this interface that will enable you to navigate for informationand still remain on the same screen.

Hi Arun,

in organization management, you can maintain the bellow methods to creat or maintain the OM objects like O,S,C,T and K.

01. Organization and staffing.

02.simple maintainance.

03. Expert mode.

you can use what ever according to your confort. I can suggest you to use simple maintainnence since it's easy and you can view your structure in a tree structure formate.

Expert mode is just to creat and maintains the the object like master data maintaining in PA30. Here you can select the object type and maintain the infotype directly t-code PP01( object, relationship etc) easily.

which ever easy method for you you can select that.
