SAP BPC 10.0 NW version - Failure to launch FXTrans

Dear ALL experts,

I'm working on SAP BPC 10.0 NW version (actually, I worked on MS version before and now exploring the NW version).

So, after setting up the whole model, I'm now working on the calculation part, but failed even when triggering the simple Currency Translation.

BPC returned with an error "Member S_None not exist", but which I have got it.

Please refer to the screen below:

Wish any of you experts could show me which setup I have made mistakes with.

Hi,

Check Currency Type of S_None under Rptg Currency

The CURRENCY_TYPE property specifies the currency type, and it should take the following values:

L (local currency)

R (reporting currency)

G (group currency, for consolidation only)

Hi Raju,

Unfortunately I found that the problem could not be fixed by what you suggested.

Instead, I found a post which mention that, to calculate the currency translation for group "S_None", you should not fix the member in the variable section, i.e. the setup should be as below:

*RUN_PROGRAM CURR_CONVERSION

CATEGORY = %CATEGORY_SET%

TID_RA = %TIME_SET%

OTHER = [ENTITY = %ENTITY_SET%]

RATEENTITY = Global

*ENDRUN_PROGRAM
