Hi experts,
In SAP B1 V8.82 PL 12 with Intercompany V1.1 PL3
Scenario:
There are 4 global partner branches with BP Code : C1 C2 C3 C4 (V1 V2 V3 V4) respectively.
For a global item A:
In C1 company, the preferred vendor would be V3.
In C2 company, the preferred vendor would be V4.
The unexpected result :
when select the preferred vendor V3.for global item A in company C1, the intercompany process will update this for all other branches.
But the preferred vendor should be V4 for global item A in company C2.
When I correct vendor V4 in company C2 that cause updating for C1 (since V4 is global BP.) But this is unexpected update.
How Can I fix this situation? Please help, the system is going to go live next week.
regards,
Hellen
Hi Hellen,
In Intercompany Integration Solution 1.1 for SAP Business One, it is a by Design system behaviour that if a Global marked Business Partner is attached to a Global Item as a Preferred vendor then this Preferred vendor value on Global Item would replicate across all Intercompany participating companies.
You can either use a Non-Global marked Vendor as Preferred Vendor on Global Item Master record.
Or, In Intercompany 2.0 a new feature of Company Template Configurator is introduced. In Company template user can define the set of data replication definitions per business object in intercompany solution. While defining data replication definitions, user can decide to send or receive a particular business object in business one company. User can further decide to accept specific object events (i.e. Add, Update or Delete) in the business one company. Business transaction notification can also be configured per object. User can also decide the property list to be replicated to the business one company. However, replication of some business objects and their properties are mandatory to replicate as per intercompany solution definition.
So, in Intercompany Solution 2.0 using this feature, you have option to disable or enable replication of Preferred Vendor on Item Master and also has option to apply this template to a select set of Intercompany participating companies.
