Pop-up debugging help, hints, tips, any lessons learned?


Hello CRM experts,

I could use some help if anyone has a little time to spare. We have a DQM address pop-up which used to work before a SAP support pack was applied.

Now when you select from a list of possible duplicates, the pop-up is closed but your chosen duplicate is not reflected in the original address screen.

So something is confusing the communication between the pop-up and the account screen.

We've asked SAP for help, but they won't touch it as we have enhanced some of the relevant classes. I've gone through this process in the debugger with 2 sessions side-by-side, one enhanced, one not enhanced; and I can't see any difference in the logic or data involved.

I'm keeping this issue deliberately vague as I don't really want a specific answer to this problem, what I think I'm missing is a good way to debug the comunication involving pop-ups.

If anyone has any hints, or has experienced a similar issue, I wuold be very grateful if you could point me in the right direction.
