Hi,

I am facing an issue related to software component version,

I have imported the design time object in Enterprise repository successfully

But when i try to use the standard template in communication channel,

its say that the software component version for template is not register in SLD.

Hi Ricardo,

I have check in SLD. The SWCV which i imported from tpz files specific

to the software component doesn't exist.

How do i register it to a specific software component.

Hi Debasis,

If it is standart SWC then you should download the SLD file and import in the SLD. If it is custom SWC then create the SWC in the SLD or move from other SLD.

Further as i mentioned earlier- You need to assign this software component version to the business system for which you are trying to make use of it.

Go into Technical System and input a new product/swcv there.

After that click at BS linked with TS and save the new swcv that will be used into Directory.

Hi Debasis,

Go to SLD and import the content. Please refer the below doc for steps

Hi Ricardo,

The problem is that i have already assign the product associated with it and also the software component associated with the product.

But when i imported the design time object thru a tpz file for product i have used in TS and BS,

Its has a SWCV which is not in SLD,

So my question how do i register the SWCV in SLD so that i can used the imported design time object in configuration scenario.

Debasis,

No you can´t just import the TPZ into repository then Product and Swcv will show up at SLD system.

The SLD configuration it´s the first process to start development into SAP PI world.

IF the SWCV it´s stantard - XI CONTENT delivery from SAP you must download  SLD Content for that, if it´s something custom case you must export the Product and Swcv from SLD DEV and Import it at SLD PRD to finish the configuration at PRD System.

I have assigned the SWCV to a business system.

The only difference between the existing SWCV and the one i imported is from tpz file

is ','. eg "abc" is existing SWCV , the imported SWCV is "abc,"

Hi Debasis - Then i believe both are different. So register your SWCV in SLD and assign it to the business system and try to execute.
