PDF to utf-16 encoded - Unicode

Hi All,

I am running FBPM Transaction for generating payment file for Romania. I am getting a smartfrom and converting it into PDF file and then sending this in a email as an attachment. But when I try to open it, the PDF file is not opening and says 'file is not correctly decoded'.

So do i need to convert the PDF file to UTF-16 form before sending  the mail?

If yes, how to achieve it?

I am using FM  CONVERT_OTF to convert smartfrom to PDF file and then QCE1_CONVERT Function module
