Custom button is not working

Hi Guys,

I created a view with page header and added a custom button in it with label  "NEXT". Let me put it in detail, i have an application where Master data records needs to be processed, so whenever user is done with DB Update for one record, NEXT button is being enabled and when user clicks on NEXT button it will clear the current data and fetch new record and display it for further processing. Strangely this doesnot work for me, i already did this in my earlier places and so i am opting for a better UI.

JFYI, I have other alternative to replace this issue but i am wondering why this button is behaving strangely for the first time. I tried to debug the button click too but debugger doesnot stop either. Its Crazy. 🙂

Please suggest.

Regards,

Praveen Kambala.

Hi Praveen,

Are you getting Javavoid(0) error message at the left-bottom-corner of your browser?

If its related to java script error, I think the scripting is not enabled at browser

Hope this helps you.

Hi Rama,

Thanks for your response, and yes Scripting options are enabled beforehand. Let  me know if there is any other cause here. I see javascript error.

Hi Praveen,

If security settings at browser level are maintained as suggested earlier and still the problem exists.

Then we need to search for an OSS note based on your NW release and support package details.

Please search a note by using term like: "Corrections for Unified rendering 731"

Note: here 731 one is the Netweaver release 7.31. replace this with your system release

Hope this helps you.

Rama
