Side Panel

Hi Experts    

I am trying to use the side panel in NWBC for tx Me23n.  But i cannot see the graph's in reporting side panel. Side panel for master data information is working fine.

Although i have activated the reqiured business function, also activated the data source in RSA5.

Business Function i activated

• FIN_REP_SIMPL_1
• FIN_REP_SIMPL_2
• FIN_REP_SIMPL_3

When i open the reporting side panel i don't see any graph but when when go to the details session of any reporting side panel i can see the data avaiable in details area.  But information is not displayed in graphical format for end users.

Could you please let me know if i have to perform any additional activity to display the graph ?

  Majority of time when this happens, it's because there's no applicable data. To check whether this is true, try the following:

   Go to the Individual chip, click on the "Note" like icon on the right hand side, it will display a drop down list.  Select the option "Display Detail".  Confirm whether any data is displayed and also the selection criteria.

Thanks for your quick response.

I have checked that, when i go to Display Detail POWL open in a new tab where i can see the data in table view..

Do i need make some more setting with chart or any thing else.

  I presume that the POWL did not display any data?  If yes, then the next step is trying to understand what data you want the chart to display. E.g. If you are trying to display the balances for a vendor; with a Head Office assigned; you'll probably always going to get zero.

  Once you understand the reason, then you will be ready to modify your Chart Chip (see below:

Hi Damean,

Finally i managed to display the graph on my side panel. Actually there was no issue at all...

My query was based on Company code and Vendor, so i need select the org data in Me23n screen after that it was displaying the graph on my side panel.
