how to open & close period in OB52 for all co codes

Hi All,

we have around 200 co codes. Could anyone please suggest any program through which periods can be opened & closed simultaneously for all co codes.

Hi,

I have done the same for 400+ companies through LSMW which contains 14000+ entries.

It takes nearly 3 hours to complete, you can schedule it in background at any time in night.

for scheduling, follow below thread

it works nice & better to change slandered program.

Dear Deepak,

Pls try following method.

Execute program RFOB5200 through SE38 with multiple company code(posting period variant).

Pls try in test server before doing in production and update if this is useful.

As far as I know, there is no standard program delivered in SAP to mass manage FI periods for company codes.

All clients prefers to create their own Abap Z_program to do so.

you can also copy-past on OB52, but time consuming.

Hi,

I can suggest you modifying table T001B directly. Alternatively, you can ask your ABAPer to build you a program which would do this, as there is no standard tool for mass maintenance of posting period variants.
