    Hi Jake,

The behavior may differ slightly depending on whether your data source is a table join, info set or logical database but as long as the field in question has a search help or check table setup in the data dictionary then it should automatically provide an F4 search help on the selection screen.

    • Hi Jake,

Here is a conceptual setup that should allow for you to pick values from the F4 help inside the infoset coding additions. The first piece is an example of adding a selection field for which you can add the AT-SELECTION-SCREEN coding:

The second image shows a couple of functions that you can use to read data to get the possible values of PA0290-SUBTY:

In the example it would require the creation of a custom search help named 'ZSEARCHHELP'. Also, if you know which configuration table is responsible for holding data about possible SUBTY values in infotype 0290 then I would suggest using that. If you need to use the value from infotype 0290 directly then you would also need to add a search help exit to sort and remove duplicates.
