Hi Experts,
Does anyone have any tips or experience for the use of SAPRouter with SAP BPC NW ?
Is that possible ?
In which cases ?
Tks a lot,
Best Regards,
Olivia.
SAP AG uses "special" SAPRouter, so they can connect even using HTTP protocol.
The usual SAPRouter does not support HTTP, so it's only possible to use SAPRouter for R/3 connection (using /H/hostname/H/ string).

Hi Olivia,
SAPRouter is very useful for SAP Support engineers to access your BPC environment directly. The three most useful connections are:
1. R/3 - connect directly to your BW system
2. WTS - use remote desktop to connect to a Windows client or server machine
3. HTTP-based tools - creates a proxy to connect the EPM add-in using URL and port number.
Kind regards,
Andrew
