Working with SRM One Client

Dear expert,

We are working with ECC and thinking about working with SRM07 too. If we will decide to work with one client, is it possible to use the current ECC users for the SRM as well?

Thank’s,
Yaron.

    Hi Yaron

Yes it is possible. If you are using HCM in your ECC system then you can use the Central Person object to link to Business Partner and also SU01 user via InfoType 0105 Subtype 0001

The Best Practice guide gives the details.

We are using One Client scenario and are using existing users for both ECC and SRM

    Hope that helps

    • Hi Yaron,

I am afraid not. Here you said copying organizational structure, and this will only replicate organization from HR system, not including user setup.

For mass generation of user in SRM@ERP one client(in case HR system is installed), please use the method in the following note:

1398626 - SRM@ERP: Mass generation of employees from users

    Hi Yaron,

If you have installed HR system in ECC side, you can only replicate users from HR system to SRM. It is not allowed to create local SRM users with trx users_gen.

If you want to know more information about SRM@ERPone client, please refer to the following path:
