New PS Type shows wrong Frequency period

I created new PS Types for US, WkHr/Period is showing Monthly, it should be Bi-weekly. Where can I correct it to Bi-weekly? Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

    For my client we have mapped our payroll area to period parameters and period parameters are in turn mapped to Time Unit.

    Mapping of payroll area to period parameter is done in the following highlighted node:

    Period parameter is tied to time unit in the following node:

    Time unit will have values as below:

    Take example for below employee in Dev system: He has a payroll area of EB and EB is mapped to period parameter 11 and which in turn is mapped to time unit 2 (as shown above) which is Semi-monthly and this is displayed in infotype 8.

    Can you also check on similar lines in your client.

      Grouping is done at EG level, the table shots are same as yours, no difference. But PS types and PS Grade Levels are maintained at position level. Depending on the position, PS Type is defaulted for PERNR. And we can change via PA30.

    Hi

    It comes from IT0007 but you can change it manually when you create IT0008 also.

    How is your work schedule rule in V_T508A?

      Yes, What Omid said is right In IT 0008 planned working hours will be defaulted throw IT 0007 Kindly can you check once again did you maintain or not IT 0007, Even you can change the no'of hours in IT 0008 also

      For exp:

      With out maintain IT 0007

      IT 0008 result

      Now maintained IT 0007

      Now see IT 0008 result

      Even after you have maintained IT 0007 then also planned working hours not defaulted i think so there is some config is missed.
