Does anyone have experience connecting DataServices to a PostgreSQL database?

I'm researching to possibility of moving some, if not all, of our databases from SQL Server to PostgreSQL.

Does Data Services support connecting to PostgreSQL? I assume this would need to be done through an ODBC connection since it does not appear that Data Services has a native Postgres connection type.

Would going through an ODBC connection have a negative impact on performance? Any other feedback or advice would be welcomed.
