Difference in ABST2 for one depreciation Area

Dear SAP Gurus,

Require your feedback on this:

We are getting error in Deprecation run in Jan'14

Go Live date was 1st Nov 13, There was a difference in One Asset for One Depreciation Area (Say Area 1) which was not reconciled,

Two Depreciation postings has been done for Nov and Dec'13,

Somehow no Period and closing was done for year end but someone closed the year 2013 via AJAB

Now while making the depreciation run for Jan'14 and getting error "Posting period 001 2014 is not open"

Since there is a difference in ABST2 we cannot open the new Period. We tried to post via Transaction EWF1 but no amount gets populated.
