Double Cost Center Showing after Edit the Cost Center Text

Dear Expats

I have changed the Cost Center Text through T Code OKEON - Change

After that i am facing new problem. In system - Two cost center is showing.

User now confuse.

Original cost center valid date is 01.01.2013 to 31.12.9999.

But after edit the text two cost center is showing in same number - two different valid date.

T code KS03 - Display

    Hi..

To avoid your problem, you shouldn’t change the cost center’s data using OKEON.

    You should use t-code ks02.

Because user forget to change the start date of OKEON’s screen as below picture.

    Dear Tarek

The validity period has been changed for this cost center hence it is showing 2 times. However user will not be able to post in to post in the first validity periods now. This is standard behavior of SAP for analysis purpose.

If you wish you can view, under 'environment-change document' tab, that when and and by which user it was changed.

    • Dear Rajneesh

User want to see the one cost center not two.

How can we marge the two validity date and make one cost center view?

Valid period from 01.01.2013 to 31.12.9999 (Previously exist)

Because cost center is same. Wrongly we have missed the text only.

So we don't want same cost center with two valid period.

      How can we do this?

      Regards

      Tarek

    Hi,

Dont delete any of the cost centers.

It can be resolved and u can get single cost center if all the feilds in both the cost centers are same.

    Thanks,

    Ramya
