Error during acquisition transfer: Depr. area does not exist

Hi All,

While settling the AUC to Final Asset, getting the error as Error during acquisition transfer: Depr. area does not exist (Message No AAPO107).

Diagnosis:

" According to the specification of the transfer variant 5, depreciation area 33 should be transferred gross, how ever the receiving asset 123456-0 does not manage this depreciation area"

Considering the above error, I have suggested the user to use the t. code ABUMN to transfer the balance--but user is not ready do the work around.

I have also checked in OAYZ, and the Dep. area is marked as Deactivate for the CoD.

Please suggest if any other option to clear this error.

Thanks,

Kishore

Hi,

According to me if the error is coming while executing through T-Code 'AIAB' then the option to transfer is only through ABUMN only.

HI Malhar,

Thanks for your reply...

Using ABUMN might be a last option which we need to convince user...but could you suggest..though the Dep. area is marked as deactivate in OAYZ, why this error is coming...

Is there any thing that I should check which will help me to convince user.

Please suggest.

Thanks,

Kishore

HI All,

If the AUC tagged to the internal order assigned with the Dep. area which was already marked for deactivation in OAYZ, how to settle the balances of the internal order with out encountering the  Error during acquisition transfer: Depr. area does not exist (Message No AAPO107).

Please suggest.

Thanks,

Kishore
