excise duty reduction

hi all

do we have to reduce the excise duty when we do the physical inventory and how to do it

also if we increase the stock then do we have to use j1i5 and how to enter the duty ?

    You can make adjustments in case of Inventory changes based on which you also need to have adjustments excise registers through manual JV though J1IH.

      you can adjust through J1H

      but to do through J1i5 following setting is mandatory

      Logistics general-->Tax on Goods Movements-->India-->Business Transactions-->Incoming Excise Invoices-->Specify Which Movement Types Involve Excise Invoices

      here you need to maintain movement type along with Register. and also proper j1id maintanance required with proper materil type(RG1,Consumable,RAW material)

    Depending upon the Register type you use the transaction for Excise adjustments.

    for example, For RG23 A / C you use J1IH transaction and For RG23D you use J1IG / J1IJ transactions for adjustments.
