Error in batch determination while processing through PI sheet

Dear Experts,

Kindly provide your inputs , reason& remedy for error while determining the batch during goods issue of component of process order through PI sheet.

The error we are facing is "The number of batch splits is limited to xxx"

Hi JH ,

In T code MBC1,strategy type is not maintained for any material .

And in COB1 we have created Batch split as 0 but when we changed this batch split to 99 from 0 then also we faced the same error.

Did you try Read PP Master Data for the BOM components for PO and then try to determine the batch again  once you have changed in COB1 ..

Hi,

Check the strategy type you are using for the batch determination....in that check for the field No.Of splits in Batch split...You need to increase that because you may need more batches to fulfill particular stock of a component....

Thank you very much for reply.

Batch split is maintained as 0 but still we are facing the same error .

Also if we check in strategy info for the perticular material  it is showing the no of split as 12.

Can you please expalin from where this is picked up ??

Did you create any Batch Spilt in COB1 -Plant/Material Combination ??

Check in MBC1 also
