Authorization Relevant issue for an info object in a query level?

Hi,

I have an issue related to "Authorization Relevant" check mark in info object level.

I have 0ORGUNIT which is authorization relevant and i did not use this Analysis authorization for restriction.

In a info provider i have 0ORGUNIT and on top of this info provider i have created a query. after executing the it is giving me the "You are not authorized".

If an info object is "Authorization Relevant",  mandatorily do we need to use this in analysis authorization and variable type as a authorization then only the query will work?

is there any way if it is a "Authorization relevant" , not mentioned in any "Analysis authorization" and dont have variable type "Authorization" still the query can work?

Dear Sudha

The general rules are

1) Info objects which are authorization relevant has to be a part of analysis authorization

2) If you have not used 0ORGUNIT in the query but it is available in the infoprovider then colon authorization has to be there.

3) If 0ORGUNIT is a part of the query and then it has to be a part of the input variable, otherwise while navigation you will get the user is not authorized

Hi Kool,

If infoobject is authorization relevant that menas we need to provide authorization for that object..I do not think there is any way without providing authorization..please read about analysis authorization.

hope it will help.
