USED and NEW inventory seperation

We have refurbished materials(USED) that come back to our inventory and can be used for some of the processes in our setup for certain customers.

currently we do not have tracking for the valuation of the materials between new or Old but their usage ( New or Old)

we would like to configure / enhance / setup a planning process in SAP APO for the planners that would allow them to have visibility of the demand (consumption) of the refurbished materials and hence should be available for planning seperately from the new materials.

can anyone let us know if this can be setup in APO.
