Recently have found this forum and have joined to get a few questions answered. New to the world of material planning and over the last few weeks I have created PO's but have failed to send them using transaction ME9F. When this happens the vendor does not have my PO, hence the order is not filled.
We check daily in SOSG to see if there have been message failures in the actual sending of the message from ME9F but would like to know if there is a transaction to see if they were created but not sent.
No access to SE16N, SE11. Have looked at ME5A and tried to get a PO that we created yesterday and did not send to show up on here with no luck.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks,
DT

Well this works when I left the PO number off of the top of ME9F and then executed with processing status of "0"
When I changed it to "2" I could not find the current PO that I was working on. It shows up when leaving the top blank, then filtering it on the next screen.
Checking here at the Plant we have an YME9F that looks like I can filter prior to the initial execute
Hi,
PO's are not send after being created, if PO are subjected to release strategy!
If release procedure/approval process set for your PO, you or system can not send PO by e-mail without releasing of your PO.Once your PO completely released, then only based on dispatch time - system will act for PO output .
Now check in transaction code SOST which is used to display all messages sent and also consult with Basis Consultant for SMTP server configuration setting.

I hope you do not mix too much here.
If you find the mail/fax in SOSG, then ME9F is always successfully processed. Otherwise you will find the unprocessed and the failed messages in ME9F itself.
In general the whole system works like in reality: you write a letter (ME21N) you bring the letter to the post office (ME9F). if it arrived there, then the message is green. Now it is handed over and the postman needs to bring this letter to the receiver, you can monitor this process in SOSG.
