MEIS with archived MM documents

Dear Experts!

Is there any way to run MEIS get an Intrastat report from last years?

It seems to me that MEIS doesn't calculate with archived Purchase Orders.

Is there any settings which will force MEIS to process Purchase Orders in the archive as well?

Thanks,

Csaba

MEIS does certainly not look into archive files.

Intrastat is a legal requirement in the EU, and it not usual to run Intrastat for a previous year.

It has to be executed at the beginning of each month, and it should include the cross  border business cases of the previous month, or latest the cases from the month before last month.

Hello Jürgen!

Do you know what this explanation means precisely?

MEIS will not wait for Invoices after this deadline?

Or MEIS can send the report to the authorities on this day?

Thanks,

Csaba

Foreign Trade: Declaration Deadline

The declaration deadline is the last day in the following month that a customs declaration must be sent to the authorities or the latest possible date that the declaration must reach the appropriate authorities.

Example

For example, if the customs declaration for January must be sent to the authorities by 10 February, enter the value 10

I am lost in the moment, in what transaction/screen do you see this Declaration deadline?

Further you wrote customs declaration, which is something different than the INTRASTAT trade report.

Sorry here in SPRO:

Sales --> Foreign Trade --> Periodic Declarations --> Control --> Data  Selection Control --> Data Selection Control

Ok, we have not filled this field for any country. I have no idea if this will control anything or is just there for information. (I actually assume the latter case). The people in charge of those reports know  very well until when they have to have the data submitted)

Dear Jürgen!

I still have some issues with MEIS.

What I have done for test:

1. Movement Type 101 GR

2. Movement Type 102 Cancellation of GR

3. Movement Type 101 GR

4. Movement Type 102 Cancellation of GR

5. Movement Type 101 GR

6. Movement Type 102 Cancellation of GR

I expect MEIS to do not show me this line in the report because everything has been canceled.

But Strangely MEIS sum up 1st and 3rd Good receipts and only the last cancellation is considered.

If I have only One GR and one Cancellation then MEIS doesn't show the line which is correct in my understanding.

Have you experienced something like this?

I have found some SAP note regarding this.

Note 1112153 - Intrastat declaration of arrivals: Questions and problems -

Thanks,

Csaba

No, I have never experienced that (what does not necessarily mean it did not happen)

Are you certain that all these 101s and 102s have the same reference and the same period and do neutralize each other? Have there been other entries between those movements  e.g. invoice receipts and cancellations?
